Volunteer Opportunities
It takes about 60 volunteers working the day of the meet to assure a smoothly run event! It is very important that every family volunteer to help out. If you have one swimmer, you are required to fulfill two volunteer jobs. If you have two swimmers, four jobs are required. a family with three or more swimmers must fulfill five jobs. Each family is required to commit to their volunteer duties at registration. If you are unable to fulfill a volunteer commitment, please find a qualified replacement and notify the Volunteer Coordinator. You will be asked to serve at the next meet in whatever spots are open. If you sign up to work at a meet that gets postponed, delayed, or only partially completed, you are required to work the balance of your volunteer commitment on the date the meet is rescheduled or arrange for a suitable replacement with the volunteer coordinator. If your child qualifies for and participates in MEET OF CHAMPS and/or ALL STARS, your family will be expected to volunteer at these events also. Thank you for supporting the swim team in this way.
A family that has not fulfilled their volunteer requirements will be suspended from participating in Cinco Ranch Swim Team activities for a year with the option to appeal to the Executive Board.
